Train

From Erfurt there is an hourly train or bus to Ilmenau. The journey takes about one hour.
At the stop "Pörlitzer Höhe" the Fraunhofer IOSB-AST is about 15 minutes away on foot.
Or take bus line A from the main station in the direction of NPI to the IGI stop.

Car

Leave the A4 at the Erfurt freeway junction and take the A71 towards Meiningen. Exit Ilmenau Ost and follow the B87 to Ilmenau. In Ilmenau, turn right at the second traffic light opposite the AGIP gas station onto the street "Am Vogelherd". Follow the road.

The new Fraunhofer building is on the right-hand side.

There is ample parking available on site.
