Our scientific expertise in data and energy management for industry and the energy sector is reflected in our extensive research and development work. We have developed a prototype energy data room as part of several research projects to test the concepts of data rooms in practice. Our work encompasses the interoperability of data rooms at a semantic level, as well as the development of solutions for policy enforcement within data rooms. Furthermore, we integrate energy management functions as services into data rooms and utilise these to optimise IT processes in industry and energy supply.

We have successfully tested data rooms for the administration of decentralised flexibility and reducing energy costs by integrating production planning and energy management in industry. 

Our expertise is underscored by our involvement in pioneering projects such as Gaia-X Hub Germany, energy data-X, Factory-X and idFlexNetz, in which we are actively working to develop smart, cross-sector solutions for the energy transition.
